With the rise in work related injuries the cost has created a tidal wave of payouts to the tune of 15 to 20 billion dollars in annual workers compensation costs reports the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Estimates for indirect costs according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics for absenteeism, training, and hiring new employees may run as 60 billion dollars.

PTRS feels the best way to cut these costs and simultaneously keep workers healthy is by offering a comprehensive program that includes educating employees and supervisors on how to prevent on the job injuries, worksite modifications, work hardening/conditioning programs, and functional capacity evaluations. FCE's are a fundamental component of the rehabilitation process. It helps with determining the extent of an employees injury and provides an analysis of functional status at the time of assessment. FCE's can determine whether an injured worker can safely return to his job by evaluating strength, endurance, flexibility, push-pull limits, lifting tolerance, and other body mechanics.

Through the use of BTE Technologies equipment, our highly trained clinical specialists provide services at a cost savings to local employers. This advanced technology allows our therapists to control and collect all performance data from every treatment and assessment to form a seamless integration needed for the production of objective, reliable and accurate outcome and progress data.
